Active Ageing, Healthy Ageing & Dementia Care

This 5-day online training programme is designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of professionals and researchers working in ageing and long-term care. Delivered in collaboration with INIA (United Nations – Malta), it provides global insights and practical strategies to promote active ageing, healthy ageing, and quality dementia care in diverse settings.
Key Learning Outcomes
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
- Understand dementia diagnosis, assessment, and early intervention approaches
- Explore community-based and rehabilitation services for older persons
- Apply strategies for delivering dementia care within community settings
- Recognise key elements of dementia-friendly communities and age-friendly cities
